The annual ‘Taste of Santa Barbara,’ is a week-long culinary celebration inspired by Julia Child’s love and appreciation for Santa Barbara County’s food scene. We work closely with local talent in hospitality, agriculture, tourism, wine, small businesses, and local food nonprofits to create a series of unique food and drink experiences. From panel discussions to pop-ups and tastings, we immerse you in what makes Santa Barbara County a must-visit food and drink destination.
The Santa Barbara Culinary Experience in partnership with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts makes grants to local organizations that are making a difference in Santa Barbara County’s food system.
